'Dying well' - now that's a morbid header!

I (Jackie) am currently reading 'Healthy Faith and the Coronavirus Crisis'. A book pulled together in extra quick time by a number of contributors.
I am hoping to finish it whilst on holiday this week, and who knows a book review may follow! But one of the chapters I have read is the contribution by John Wyatt. Over the years Myton Church has used a variety of his resources and teaching, as he engages in the new ethical, philosophical and theological challenges caused by advances in medical science and technology.

 His chapter, 'The art of dying well: Reflections of a Christian medic', may sound a little morbid but is a fascinating exploration of a topic that us Brits (even Christian ones) don't like to talk about.

But like I said I've not yet finished the book, so at this stage this is just a signpost to Dr Wyatt's other material about the pandemic on his website

It feels like yesterday we were doing Christmas in our house. Last year we so enjoyed getting ready for it, celebrating Advent, probably the proper way for the first time. Lockdown has its uses J ! As Lent came round we asked ourselves why we give more importance to Advent and not to Lent. Surely both are as important! Both are amazing news for humanity.
