Easter is on the horizon! Palm Sunday.

So have you started to lose track of what day of the week it is yet? This week I confess I was convinced Wednesday was Friday! It's like being a new character in that 1993 movie ' Groundhog Day'.
As the days blur we might be in danger of losing sight that we are heading towards Easter. Tomorrow is Palm Sunday, commemorating Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem. An event recorded in all four Gospels (Matt 21:1ff, Mark 11:1ff, Luke19:28ff, John 12:12ff).

Here are a few suggestions of how to remind ourselves of both the great realities of Palm Sunday and prepare ourselves for Easter.

Tales from the Miracle Book are producing a whole set of videos on the Easter story, one of which is on Palm Sunday

Thanks to Tricia Lee for finding this idea online.

What is everyone tomorrow morning puts a branch on the door of their house or in the window, to celebrate Palm Sunday?
It could be any green branch you can get. This would help, despite the social distancing, to be connected as we enter the week leading up to Good Friday and Easter Day.

We may be physically isolated, but not separated. we are united as the body of Christ.

Crossteach have made a variety of their resources available including their Easter experience and a primary school assembly. You'll find links below plus the reference needed for each.
