Getting Creative!

Whilst a partially finished jigsaw is about as creative as I have got in all my additional hours at home. Some have shown much more skill and beauty.

Kate Sanders has shared an image of the painting her husband Dai has been working on during their 14 day quarantine.

It has been called 'Hope' to mark this rather unique time.

Anybody have any other creations to share?

    Thoughts on watching a butterfly

Oh butterfly you fly so freely .

As humans we thought we ruled the earth once.

We could go hither and thither .

We were free we thought .
Never did we think a virus would come along to cease out constant travel .

A new p!an had to be thought of .

Thankfully we had devices ,internet and we came to see that miles of travel were not always needed
.Much could be done from home .

Butterfly , butterfly I stood and envied you flying freely when I and others were constrained by 'social distancing ' ' no mixing with other households '.

We need touch but that is forbidden .

But maybe , oh butterfly maybe we will think of those who are at home after this has gone .

Maybe we will be so thankful for parts of life we took for granted .
A rainy day and a ride on a crowded day .
    A hug.
Someone nearer than two metres away

It seems endless now but maybe this had to be and maybe we will emerge a different ,beautiful ,kinder , living world like you ,oh butterfly, when you emerged from your cocoon different from his you were .

Wouldnt that be worth the pain of today ?

    Thanks debs

    Maybe,oh maybe , oh butterfly,
